I cannot believe that it is the last day of February. Where did February go? Maybe if I go outside and search through all the snow, I will find it.
Today has been just another day of babysitting. Wacky kids, full of energy today! They didn't play with any toys...just jumped and ran and climbed and got into as much mischief as they could!
Tonight I have Girl Scouts. Yes, I am a Girl Scout Leader! (You may clap now). My girls are juniors. 10 years old, in 4th grade. We have a great little group. We are working on an upcoming International Fair, and we are representing Hong Kong. Tonight we will decorate the tee shirts we will all wear (yes, even me...). I hope it goes smoothly!
Of course, between now and the meeting, I will be saying good bye to the babysitting kids and hello to my own when they get home from school. I'll do homework duty, and reading, and dinner, and chores. It's always chaotic when we have evening activities, but since it is more usual than not, we're getting used to it.
My hubby is going to love me... when he calls me on his way home from work, I'm going to make him go to the ever-dreaded Wal Mart and pick up some fabric paint. I don't even know if he knows what fabric paint IS. But I need black, and I need it tonight, so he needs to come through. I also need one onion and some Heshey's miniatures... who thinks he can do it? I'll let you know!!
I've been doing pretty good on my diet too. Well, not my diet, my LIFESTYLE CHANGE. I do Weight Watchers... I'm on the points system. I get 23 points per day, which really isn't a whole lot. I've been on this for 5 weeks now. I'm actually a lifetime member... reached my goal weight way back in 2003. But then somehow it mysteriously came back. Just all of a sudden surprised me one day! And now I'm trying once again to get rid of it. As of last Saturday I was 5 pounds down. (You can clap again). I go to my meetings on Saturday mornings at 6:30 a.m. I chose that time because I thought no one else would be there... I guess that's what everybody thought. It's a packed meeting. But it works with my schedule so I keep going!
Enough rambling for today... gotta go put my bag together and get ready for the kids to come home! Have a great day!

Here I go! Starting a blog! I'm joining forces with all the other bloggers out in cyberspace! How exciting!
Today is going to be a fun day. There are four children, ranging in age from 1 to 4. And I am in charge of them all!! Mwah-ha-ha!! So far, so good. A little apple juice, a box full of Little People, and we're good to go for about...oh... fifteen minutes or so!
Hoping to get some laundry and other cleaning done during the day... we'll see though. By the time nap time comes, I just might need one myself!
Tonight is one of those rare evenings that we have nothing planned. Imagine that! Three school-aged children and still nothing planned! It's the only evening this week that we are free to do what we want!
Of course, getting Will (8) to do his homework is going to take some time. It just might take the whole evening. If I start at 2:30 when he walks in the door... there's a much better chance of his one sheet of homework being done by 7. And you think I'm kidding? Nope. "Getting Will to do his homework" is a sport in my house. I'm not too good at it yet, but with constant practice I'm getting better.
Apparently, the Little People have been forgotten, and I now have 4 super heroes running around the living room! That's my cue to get off the puter and do my job!
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
